		<description>Doctors here are aware of potential abuse problems. My MIL&#039;s skin was so fragile that a light bump would cause it to peel away and bleed, and she bruised very easily. As well, she got quite thin in her last months, although she did manage to stay over 100 pounds. She got the best of care, but she was very old and frail. 
The doctor always asked us to leave so that she could talk frankly to my MIL and make sure that she was not being abused. We appreciated her concern and were not in the least insulted.</description>
